PULLEYS & CORDS
The quality of the timber we use together with our joinery methods are of great importance to the longevity of your product. We use modern and traditional joinery techniques to ensure the highest standards are maintained. We also incorporate the very latest in window and door technology to ensure security, insulation, durability, finish and functionality.
This window uses cords, weights and pulleys to counter balance the sashes in the traditional way with the weights housed in a ‘box’ created by the internal and external liners. The pulleys are available in chrome or solid brass. We use lead weights hung from pre tensioned cords which will not fray or stretch and will maintain their colour throughout the products lifespan. If necessary, the weights can be accessed and the sashes removed for maintenance.
